Overview
The Justice Court has a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to Small Claims, Debt Claims, Evictions, Magistration, Truancy, and Inquests.
Judges are prohibited from discussing any cases with the public, or ex-parte communication (without both parties present), as we are unable to provide legal advice or have prior knowledge of matters before they are presented in court.
As the "People's Court," where legal representation is not required, this website is designed to assist you in navigating the Justice of the Peace court system, whether you are a Plaintiff or a Defendant.
